Kidney Stones, known as Renal Calculi, are the solid masses that are made of crystals. They can develop anywhere on a person’s body along your urinary tract that consists of his/her kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. There are various types of Kidney Stones (Nephrolithiasis) which occur in a patient’s body such as Calcium Stones, Struvite Stones, Uric Acid Stones, Cystines Stones etc. Most of the kidney stones are treated without surgery. But for the larger stones, there is a need for surgery.
